Students of Citizens' Climate Lobby

Students of Citizens' Climate Lobby provides a welcoming community in which students can come together and act on their climate concerns by advocating and lobbying for bipartisan legislation reform. Our goal is to establish a sustainable foundation to push for climate action across all geographic regions. CCL focuses on using shared values rather than growing the political divide to make significant change. CCL focuses on putting a price on carbon, electrification, healthy forests, and permitting reform. Throughout the school year we will organize various events related to the core values of CCL to exercise our rights to influence legislation. We will meet each month to discuss and plan these events, talk about current climate related event happening around the world, and more. There will be numerous volunteer opportunities, internship opportunities, and amazing exposure to the field overall.
